IT'S ABOUT TIME! - Musical Tribute to the Life and Vision
   of the late John Denver

     I am so excited to announce "It's About Time - A Musical
Tribute to the Life and Vision of John Denver" starring Donna
Lipman supported by Bill & Kira Small, written by Gabriel
Folse and directed by Krystna Spicer, will be performed in
Aspen on October 11, 2001. It is planned as the opening event
of the John Denver week. The show is being hosted by JD Spirit
and the Rocketship Earth Foundation. As well as being a
tribute to John, it is a celebration of friendship,
relationships and what one man can do.

Proceeds will benefit the Rocketship Earth Foundation created
by Donna and I last year. The work of the foundation, inspired
by our time with John Denver, is to provide one day workshops
in partnership with schools that effectively deal with the
violence and alienation so deeply rooted in the school
experience for millions of young people every day. Its vision
is safe, happy and healthy schools and communities.
