   Theatre in the Park.....in Kansas City

One of the best things about Kansas City are the
theatre in the park productions every summer.  
They produce 2 or 3 productions in Gladstone and at
Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park there are always
4 or 5 of them.  The Gladstone productions are free.
The ones at Shawnee Mission Theatre in the park are
$1.00 per person.  You bring a blanket or a lawn
chair and sit on the grass to view the musicals.
Refreshments are available at both locations....or
you can bring your own picnic if you'd rather.

In addition there are outdoor concerts at a variety 
of locations throughout the city all summer long.
