A FRIEND

A friend is a wonderful blessing
A precious and cherished one
With whom you find companionship
And caring has begun

In a friend  you find that suddenly
You feel so much at ease
Your thoughts are spoken easily
And talking is a breeze

You find when you are with them
You re laughing and relating
Somehow between the two of you
A bettter place you are creating

An evening glides by happily
You have someone who cares
A friend who hears your troubles
And in that trouble shares

A friend is one who being there
Cana brighten up the day
Someone who with a cheerful smile
Can help you find your way

Sopmeone who knows your worries
Who listens to them all
Someone right there to help you
If you ever trip and fall

A friend tells you to come inside
Saying "make yourself at home"
A friend is one you think about
No matter where you roam

A friend has what you're needing
When you're feeling lost and blue
For a kind and loving friend will
Always help to see you through

A friendship is a treasure
Worth at least a pot of gold
An estate that keeps on growing
Without ever getting old

For every day invested with
A cherished friend and true
Will help you learn to act
Your best and be a better you
