I sit in the dark with people all around
My ears are filled, what a lovely sound
People softly singing gently fills the air
And all at once my eyes aren't so dry
For we are here and you are there... So

    Sing a song that will bring a smile

    Sing a song when the sun is bright
    Sing to us in the dead of night
    Sing a song that will last throughout the years

I try to take in every moment, every tone
It feels so personal but we're hardly alone
And you would not know me if we passed on the street
But I hope somehow our souls would greet
For it's there that you have touched me so deep... So
