Who have shared the joys and tears
That come from sharing friendship
Through the course of many years

For every day of sharing
Every letter - every thought
Helps forge the bonds of friendship
With a strength that falters not

Each look of understanding
And each gentle word of praise
Helps form a chain of friendship
That around you ever stays
