THE WIND

I am inspired by the wind
My lofty words take flight
Soaring to higher worlds above
And drifting out of sight

My words soar like the eagles
And ride upon the breeze
Floating to infinity
With grace and truth and easy

My words take on a meaning
Poignant and sublime
The words sail on the meaning
In my ever flowing rhyme

My words are all inspired
By a higher meaning called
Each one has significance
That leaves my heart enthralled

I cherish the words I'm writing
For I know they are not mine
A higher world of inspiration
Is the place from whence they shine

I write them down still knowing
That through me they must flow
For higher worlds I learn about
And to higher worlds I go
