John sang the James Taylor song "Fire and Rain" on his album, "Poems, 
Prayers and Promises."  It is a heartfelt and emotional song, very
similar to songs written by John Denver. 

John also sang the James Taylor song "Carolina In My Mind" on his album 
"Take Me To Tomorrow".

Other good songs by James Taylor include "Shower The People" 
"Sweet Baby James" and "Handy Man".  The lyrics to "Shower the People" 
tell us that we should "shower the people we love with love....show them
