             REFLECTIONS: SONGS OF LOVE AND LIFE

A new John Denver album came out in stores in the U.S. on 10/29/96.
This cd contains previously released material, but six of the songs 
are on cd for the first time.  The cd itself shows an early picture of
John and the booklet interweaves biographical data with other pictures
from John's early career.  

1. "You're So Beautiful" (3:07) by John Denver was originally on
   the album JD. So this is the first time it has appeared on cd.
2. "Dearest Esmeralda" (3:29) by John Denver and Bill Danoff is from 
   the album I WANT TO LIVE.
3. "Annie's Song" (2:58).
4. For "My Sweet Lady" (4:23), RCA picked up the original, heartfelt
   version from the album POEMS, PRAYERS AND PROMISES. 
5. "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" (3:08) is from the album SPIRIT so this is
   the first time this song has been available on cd. It was written by
   Burke and Van Huesen.
6. "For Baby (For Bobbie)" (2:56)
7. "Come and Let Me Look In Your Eyes" (3:46) by Joe Henry and John was
   originally on the album SPIRIT but also picked up for the ROCKY 
   MOUNTAIN COLLECTION (2-cd set).
8. "Daydreams" (2:52) written by John, comes from the album RHYMES AND
   REASONS.  So this is its' first time on cd. 
9. The Lennon-McCartney song, "Let It Be" (3:38) first appeared on the
   John Denver album POEMS, PRAYERS AND PROMISES.
10. The soulful "What's On Your Mind" (4:26) by John came from the album
    JD and is on cd for the first time here.
11. "I'm Sorry" (3:30) is originally from WINDSONG.
12. "Rhymes and Reasons" (3:13)
13. "Molly" (3:46) by Rose came from the album TAKE ME TO TOMORROW
     and has never appeared on cd before.
14. "Sunshine on My Shoulders" (5:11)
15. "How Can I Leave You Again" (3:08)
16. "Fire and Rain" (3:45) - a James Taylor song from POEMS, PRAYERS
     AND PROMISES.
17. "Isabel" (3:22) is from TAKE ME TO TOMORROW.
18. "Goodbye Again" (3:37)
19. "Autograph" (3:36)
20. "Calypso" (3:34)
