This page was created primarily for the purpose of introducing novices to the world of Ham Radio, and to assist them in getting their license in what ever manner possible. At this site you will find opportunities to study and learn about ham oriented organizations. It is hoped that this site will provide you with a well rounded introduction to Ham Radio.

What Will You Find Here? . . .

Here you will find two programs that you can download for the purpose of learning Morse code. There are also several sites that offer practice exams for various Ham Radio licenses. Lastly, you will find the addresses to three major ham organizations, The Courage HandiHam Center, QRZ and the American Radio Relay League/ ARRL.

Available Resources . . .

This first program is called Morse Code Made Easy; the file is mscode.zip. This program offers you lessons, online practice sessions and word tests. It is a great little program, and I highly recommend it.

    This next program is called Code Trainer; the file is codet.zip. This tutorial program teaches you characters and letters in selected groups of four, so as to avoid the formation of bad coding habits. It is by far my favorite electronic tutorial. I sincerely recommend this program.

    To every aspiring ham, these first cyber locations will prove to be highly beneficial. I have put together a small group of sites where you will be able to take practice exams, and get further acquainted with the greatest hobby known to human kind.

    I wish to introduce the Courage Center's Handiham organization. They are highly instrumental in helping disabled persons learn and progress in the hobby of HamRadio. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are some of the most helpful and supportive people you'll ever have the privilege and joy of working with.
